On an average day movies would be dreamed up, deals made only to fall apart and start again tomorrow.
At this time I was putting my 'Runyon's Law' movie together that was going to star Mike and Winston.

I first met Gordon Pinsent at Windsor Arms at a private party given by Eddie Cogan. We chatted about some magnificent beaujolais we were quaffing with oodles of giant shrimps. A bit of talk about my Newfie Name and Newfie Grandfather. later we had the same bank in Forest Hill village for a couple of years and we would chat in line now and then mostly about Newfoundland. The last time I saw him was backstage at Peter Gzowski's Wake. Hey Gordon I'm getting close I just bought a place in Cape Breton.
